After he has become your manager, he will call you for various projects aside from the goal-related ones. You can sift through his suggestions as many times as you want and decide which projects to take.
If you decide not to take any, you can always have him call back in 1 hour. If you decided not to take any projects but change your mind, you can always call him back yourself but it will cost you 
2 to get a new set of gigs.
